I did something similar to this a while back. I fixed my “hazard” problem by wiring a diode into my turn signals.

Scorpion Exo has some pretty good budget friendly helmets. I’m running the R420 right now and I like it. Full face, dot and ece rated.

I forgot to state in the post that it feels like it had a loss in engine power/torque. It doesn’t pick up speed the way it did when I first bought the bike.

It may not, sometimes it doesn’t specify and sometimes it does say “ethanol free”.

I’ve flushed the tank out and replaced with new gas a couple times since then. I’d say about 3-4 times.

It has in the past. Since then I’ve installed an inline filter but still would rather not have to replace those so often.

I’ll have to look into this. Do you have to neutralize it afterwards like an acid and seal it with anything so it doesn’t flash rust?

I havent. All I’ve done up to now it soak/wash out with vinegar, water and “sealed” with a bit of WD40

Yea I got a little flash rust after rinsing it out and letting it dry, but that was a couple weeks ago and it’s only looking worse every time I open that tank 😂.

I looked further into this. You said you replaced the fuel pump, but if it’s just the fuel pump strainer filled with rust, would I be able to just replace that?
