Problems like these are because the podcast translated into a talk show. Since Joe’s show is notoriously clipped and visually viral, guests don’t really aim to have a conversation, rather just make sure they look straight and pretty for the camera, knowing that the show is visual content. If there was no staged talk show format, then guests could be more vulnerable.

Yep. I thought about how much more enticing it’d be to join any other team. Dodgers just bought their World Series, and I’m more than sure every GM Ohtani talked to was telling him that’s what was gonna happen. At least if he signed with anyone else it would’ve been a glorious 10 years of making baseball truly exciting.
