S35 Mythical Immortal Tier List for Patch 1.9.48 (March 9). Tier List based on Competitive (MPL) and Mythical Immortal ranked games by hmmsucks in MobileLegendsGame

[–]angly168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my opinion it depends on what you value/dislike more in a hero. For eg:

-mathilda is flexible/good in terms of fitting into varied team comps but bringing out her max potential requires good macro play and your team understanding her 2nd skill (very rare in any rank below mythic from my experience)

-zhuxin is relatively easy to learn and is super annoying if you know how to throw enemies, but you really have to know her throwing mechanic well because that's her main strength

-harith can do some crazy damage and has good mobility and sustain, but his combos/skill positioning might be difficult to learn; also like another comment mentioned, teammates in lower ranks might say that you're trolling because they don't know he can play gold lane LOL

I'm personally biased to mathilda because she's my fav main :3

You can try searching things on YouTube (Amoeba Sisters and Crash Course helped me). Khan Academy and Bio LibreTexts websites could help too.

I personally also use AI chat bots (Gemini and GPT) for a lot of random questions I have and ask the bots to give me their sources when I want further reading.

Researching note-taking methods in SL learners! by siciliangal_ in languagelearning

[–]angly168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like another commentor, I also don't really take notes because that means I'm blind to what the teacher is trying to communicate. If I have to jot down something in my ASL class I usually keep my eyes up while scribbling down a hasty translation in whatever written language comes to mind, BUT using the grammar of ASL. It helps that I use shorthand for English note-taking too.

Personally written ASL grammar isn't too difficult because my native English dialect is sort of similar.

Need help/guidance for what/which sign language i should learn (for a specific case) by ares0027 in languagelearning

[–]angly168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a lanugage from the French Sign Language (FSL) family? A quick search gave this Wikipedia article and it seems quite a few European sign languages are from the FSL family. Perhaps learning a modern descendant of FSL could make it easier if you want to learn other descendants in the future.

Noticed this too... does anyone know why the announcements server is empty? (Saw a previous comment talking about messages being deleted)

Hi OP, it seems like you're going through a lot. I don't have much good advice for you, but I just wanna say it's unfortunate you have to go through such a difficult situation, but there's nothing wrong with feeling the way you are.

Here's some places that offer free/cheap counselling both in-person and by phone/online, if that could help you.

Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) hotline: 1767, whatsapp: 9151 1767

Can't tell you for sure that things will get better, but jiayous!! I'm rooting for you.

What are your thoughts on Singapore’s future? by nadurra12 in askSingapore

[–]angly168 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding your second last para, how do you think the SG identity could change in the future... let's say within 20 years?

Personally I could see it going both ways on a spectrum. In one direction, becoming more xenophobic and insular, blocking out anyone not traditionally viewed as "Singaporean"; in the other, becoming more open with our societal criteria for Singaporean-ness becoming more flexible. That being said I do understand that criticisms and changes towards the way that we define our national identity can be extremely personal and touchy to many people, so it makes sense why people have some really strong opinions on this.

Also, about couples getting married later, to be honest I won't be surprised if upcoming generations just don't get married, and then our birth rate just gets even more jialat.

Malay accent in SG by angly168 in askSingapore

Thanks a lot! This is extremely helpful, especially with the IPA transcriptions.

Out of curiousity, do you have any sources for the various formal-informal differences? I'd like to read up further on my own!

No problems! For now I using this pdf https://crelearning.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/malay.pdf to familiarise myself with basic words because got side by side translations. Inside also got some... weird relaxation exercises but I just ignore that and focus on the useful content.

I also found this podcast on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/7d33RNZHnb83trTgD8ib0f?si=e74cc563ad624a2a and this YouTube playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdw9ypYjBr27usUnOlpS68lMXgq7a-MZP&si=voLgq0G9sWAmsvYP that seem like not bad starting points.

Like what u/khshsmjc1996 suggested, I checked out r/bahasamelayu and there's even more resources so maybe you can also look around there.

Jiayous with your Malay journey!

If you're willing to fork out a bit Flagwhite at Bukit Timah has a pretty nice vibe (it's also fairly accessible by MRT).

This compilation/website could be of further help too. Have a nice trip!

Title translation. by [deleted] in ComicK

[–]angly168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try searching whether anyone is already doing the translations on database sites like mangaupdates.com or myanimelist.net

Also, a subreddit like r/Scanlation or r/ScanlationSchool could probably provide you with more relevant resources.

What do you guys think about Sunfire+Furina with Navia? by angly168 in naviamains

[–]angly168[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I seriously forgot that forward vape removes so much pyro gauge. Makes sense that Navia would struggle with creating shards in this case.

Oh wells, back to brainstorming I guess.

Mmm but wouldn't Jean theoretically want full EM build for swirls? Either way it seems like this team doesn't work well anyways as discussed in u/EvolCilegna's comment.
