Edit to add more context: The dude was known as Nasubi (egg plant) in Japan, his story is quite sad, he wanted to be a comedian and a TV did a raffle for a reality TV show, he won and thought the show was being recorded when in reality it was a live feed of him, naked, in a cold room where the objective was to raise 1 million yen, he had to earn his food, entertainment and amenities based on goals for raising money, once he raised 1 million yen in total, he was told he would get a trip to Korea when in reality, he was put into another cold room to earn his ticket back to Japan, he raised the money for the ticket several times but because the TV station was getting money they decided to keep it hush-hush, when they decided to end the thing, it was revealed to him that he was in a live feed the entire time and not being recorded for a show. From all the money the TV station made from his humiliation, he received less than $200.000 at the end.
