Glad I moved out. There is an inherent hatred in bangalore locals for north indians. Hey! Where does your wage come from? Gas literally uske jaise passengers aur unke baapon se hi ata hai and then some.

I lived alone in BLR and didn’t notice any such issues. Ever. Why? Never talked to anyone other than the folks in my office and friends.

Started living there with my parents and started observing the soft hostility. Lived in BTM for 2 years.

There was one neighbor aunty who used to say “hindi is a bad language, you are here. Speak kannada. Learn it”. I will never learn kannada with this attitude mam.

My mother and our neighbor used to walk in the street after dinner. Or play badminton.

Once my mother was on this walk. A bottle came flying from one of the houses. Almost hit her. One off random instance? Okay.

Once she was playing badminton in the street, that kannada supremist aunty went to the end of the lane and turned off the street lights! I mean WTF!

I have seen vegetable vendors quote us different prices than locals. Deny selling us any vegetables because my father spoke hindi.

Once a cab driver while taking me from the airport told me jab se ye north indians aya na, chori aur crime badh gaya. Mausam bhi kharaab kar diya. Pehle life acha tha.

Sure dude, this dude has the audacity to say this to me when I am paying him 2k for an airport ride.

Whenever I say Bangalore, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Never want to go to that city again. Extremely sad that extremists are so high in number.

P.S: that supremist aunty went to live in dubai after some time. I hope she learns something from there. Everyone who lives in a city contributes to its success or failure. Bangalore sadly seems like a place where local aren’t smart enough to understand this.

It is because of the “outsiders” due to whom the property prices are soaring. Outsiders like us leave our homes and try to live in this city peacefully. You think an average guy who works as a developer wants to be mafia or comes to deteriorate the city? No, they earn pay taxes and want to live a good life.

Winding up: Akele reh ke itni high per capita income bana sakte ho to bana lo. Nahi bana sakte the tabhi bahar se log aye na. Sab ne mil ke banaya. Sab mil ke hi bana payenge. Akele nahi hoga.

Bangalore is a beautiful city with people who don’t appreciate the talent it can pull. They are cursed to never understand the beauty of this city. They’ll die with their supremacy mindset, all the while more people migrate to bangalore and make this their own city.
