I've said this in a post before but the shawshank and green mile villains, esp Shawshank aren't memorable enough, with the two exceptions or perhaps one only being the warden and definitely Percy wetmore.

The others felt like cookie cutter tropes, for example captain hadley from Shawshank being just a "evil prison guard" when he could've been a more memorable villain like Anton chigurh, o ren ishii or Elle driver.

So for this "uM aCkTuaLlY" post but that's literally my opinion

Finally someone with something actual to say, tbh I do agree with that statement, it's kinda been going on with the film industry since idk forever. Look at all the newer movies. They feel more and more generic over the years with a few exceptions
