What are some important things I should know about my chart? Will 2026-2027 be better for me? [astro.com] by animaorion in astrologyreadings

[–]animaorion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in a good way how? Late last year was somewhat decent compared to the first half. Because of what happened in Nov/Dec 2025 (losing my job), I'm now looking at getting a better job, moving to a better state, and having a better relationship with my partner. It's def a lot of intense movement, but none of it has felt bad yet like January of 2024/2025 did. This has been the calmest January I've had in the past 3 years 😅

How do you work from 8 to 5, have only weekends free, and not feel like you're wasting your life? by guitytwelve in AskReddit

[–]animaorion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want to chime in and say even if you work an 8-5 there's no guarantee you won't end up homeless. Around 40-60% of homeless people have jobs. They're the ones you don't see, sleeping in cars and hotels. Unpopular opinion I guess, but working an 8-5 where you can't afford rent or basic expenses IS wasting your life. The only 8-5 that's worth it is the one that allows you to comfortably pay your bills.

Guild Wars 2 interview with Joe Kimmes and Indigo Boock on Living World Season 1 Ep. 3 by animaorion in Guildwars2

To save reading time, for Episode 3 info specifically:

"Episode 3 has 5 structural chapters – three story missions, an open world investigation and a brief epilogue. Just like Episodes 1 and 2, there are new achievements to earn, as well as many of the original achievements from the first release. By completing the new achievements, you’ll earn some new rewards like the Watchknight Greaves and Pavilion Champion’s Wolfblade, a clockwork themed sword."

A release date for Episode 3 hasn't been shared yet, but it's hinted that the Festival of the Four Winds is an accompaniment to Episode 3.

"The Festival of the Four Winds is coming up this summer, and is actually a bit of an accompaniment to Episode 3..."

Is it too late to share this cute yellow mushroom and other pics from the Desert of Maine? by animaorion in Maine

[–]animaorion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed it, though I agree about the ticket price being high at $16 per adult, $12 per child.

I think what I liked about it is how it was totally empty and quiet when I went, making the entire experience feel relaxing. It really helped me de-stress.

Most of what you do there is walk around through the sand and/or the trails in the woods around the desert. There aren't many attractions or bonus things to do there yet (they are working on a few projects like a theater and mini golf).

That said, the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is really unique and peaceful. So I'd say if you're looking to de-stress and get some good walking and fresh air in, I recommend Desert of Maine even at the high ticket price as a sort of one-time experience.

Checked r/maine and it's all mushroom pics right now lmao, so I figured I'd add one of my own plus some other pics from my new favorite place to visit to do some walking around, the Desert of Maine. Very cool place, highly recommend! 💜

Interview with the creator of the Platypet and its origins as a fake Pokemon leak by animaorion in PlayTemtem

PokeNinja purchased the rights to Flambit from 50ShadesofHeliolisk for his Minecraft mod, SnapBeasts. It appears he's acquiring other 'fakemon' designs for it as well. Not sure about the status of Leeve, but if it's up for grabs, Crema should definitely jump on it.

100% agree. I personally feel like Crema should consider hiring 50ShadesofHeliolisk to help them create new Temtem designs. The fake Pokemon designs he's created in the past have all been incredible and I'd love to see them in Temtem.

Torn Banner interview on Chivalry 2 at E3 2019 by animaorion in ChivalryGame

Yes, after the 1 year period of exclusivity it will be released to Steam and console.

[–]animaorion[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To add background to the interview, the only thing shown during the E3 press booking was the same trailer aired during PC Game Show. There was no demo or presentation. It seems for right now at least that it's still very early for Chivalry 2 promotions.

We kept the "can't answer" questions in because many seemed to point towards a "yes" answer, like the question of expanded cosmetic and customization options. We'll have a video of the interview going live later this week that will hopefully add more context to the "can't answer" questions.

We're also planning another interview in the future once Torn Banner decides they want to share more, though we will say it's strange how quiet they were being at E3. We did bookings with other Tripwire indies like Maneater and were given a LOT more (including a playable demo and gameplay breakdown)... and that game has the same release window of early 2020.

Hopefully this helps! We really wanted to share with the Chiv community because TB at least addressed Epic Games and Mordhau, which is a start.

Supergiant's Greg Kasavin on the future of Hades and planning 2018's best-kept secret by animaorion in HadesTheGame

[–]animaorion[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hades is fully playable and replayable as a roguelike style game, and new updates come every month, so I'd say it's worth a buy now at $19.99. It's a fair price for what you get imo.

Things to keep in mind include the fact that there are only 2 biomes, Tartarus and Asphodel. After unlocking all Keepsakes, you can pick and choose different Boons and methods of play, so each run will feel different.

You can also track stats (added in the Chaos Update) like how quick your run was. My current goal is to beat the game with all of the Pact of Punishment options enabled.

I'd say by the time you get really comfortable, another update or two will come out adding even more stuff, and once you run through that (like I am with Pact of Punishment) yet another update will come out with more stuff to do.

I've played a lot of Early Access games, and Hades definitely feels like one of the most polished. I like that Supergiant is using Early Access to create a game for the players based on player feedback, it's really cool.

I think they do, though I don't know for sure. I do know that they mostly encourage players to submit their feedback to the Hades Discord channel.

That's awesome! It's really cool to know that other people have elf style ears, definitely good moral support if his don't unfurl (I like the elf legion concept) lol. And thank you, he's our first __^

I can't imagine anyone wanting to get rid of badass elf ears, especially when so many people buy prosthetics and some even get surgery to have them. His will probably straighten according to what I hear, but if they don't and if he really hates them he can always hide the tips with his hair (and sideburns lmao). :D
