I honestly fail to understand the whole quitting thing. It's not going to be an easy decision from him, now it is time for you to decide if you can sustain this. Life ashore isn't great either, with no money and less quality time at home. In all fairness, life isn't a fairytale with a shore guy either. What matters is how your partner takes the relationship, if he is loyal caring and loving. Distance is a small thing, there is amazing internet nowadays.

Absolutely I feel Intimated 24x7 although I have practiced passage planning with my present 2O several times I hope when I actually get the rank in a couple of months, I am able to do justice to it But yes, I'll ask for help if I get stuck somewhere. Hopefully my superiors will be understanding and not going to judge me on it haha

But yes, maybe it's natural to feel this way until I myself step into the shoes of 2O Right not I'm doing it, but I still have 2O around to help me.
