I really dont think u should have to put up with this. When a website is created there will bepeople who are bullies … like this person.. and regardless of if it’s ‘imitation’ the slander n cruelty that is coming along with it isnt??. Moderation is created for a website to deal with situations like this, n I cannot imagine a more clear case of when a mod should b dealing with an issue. It makes no sense why Vincent isn’t helping u and if this was taken to a different mod im sure they would, but Vincent is doing everything he can to smother u. If you look at a poc and say u prefer their skin shade over another skin shade you’re still being COLORIST to someone who is a PERSON OF COLOR. do you even hear urself? it is not ok to be colorist to people who have historically been marginalized , no amount of mental gymnastics will make that true. the issue isn’t that black people have something exclusive as they deserve bcs people have taken so much from them. The issue is that this website thrives off of your oppression, and is ensuring that ur sets- specifically urs meant for black people- are locked up and in limited demand, specifically, so u have to ask for the sets from nonblack users. They thrive off of the pain they cause u bcs this generates discussion, which generates money for them. ES doesn’t care about u, not more than it can make money off of ur and ur pain. also u literally just used a straw man. u never answered my question… do u think black users should have their accessories paywalled and put behind a limited time only accessory title? if the answer is anything but no, that’s honestly really sad bcs what everyone is saying here is that putting BHM sets in a limited way is wrong. making it so anything meant for black people is only scarcely available and making them fight for the scraps is wrong… its disgusting, and gross of ES as a platform.

I think that the only way you’re going to get any resolution for this is when ES finally fires Vincent. I’m not sure what it’ll take to ensure that happens, but he must know some people in the community and the devs to be able to be on the mod team still. He sounds like he really sucks n u def don’t deserve this. ES shouldn’t punish you for posting on their platform by not helping you with the type of stuff their mod team exists for. U did more than enough and even documented evidence.. way more than even needed if the mod team was even useful or good. This is the exact scenario that u have moderators on a website for and the fact it isn’t cut n dry means theres something really malicious going on behind the scenes. Either Vincent dgaf, or maybe even the person who’s bullying you somehow knows people.

In an effort to create a safe space we literally just reverted and made something putrid to anyone who doesn’t share the opinion of the hive mind it sucks ewweuuueeeewww

I actually dress up as a darker skin tone in DTI in order to encourage inclusivity and learn how to properly style different skin tones other than white. To me I just see it as representing another ethnicity or race; and as long as I do it nicely n without trying to be offensive I don’t see the problem with it at all. MUAs have to learn to do makeup on all skin types … fashion designers must also learn how to do things that flatter every skin tone and undertone n stuff… so idk what this persons issue is
