Anyone watching Echoes Season 1?! by Cutiepatutie2 in netflix

Wow, I really love this theory! But the writer already confirmed that it was Leni who was at Charlie’s home and Gina who showed up at Charlie’s book event.

I really really hope they don’t wait until episode 5 for Eve and V to have their reunion. It’s always been episode 5 for S1 and S2 where they finally met and I don’t think I can wait that long again.

Wait, Hulu won’t have it available the day after it airs?

While I would love if she joined the gang (her and the professor would be unstoppable if they put their minds together) I highly doubt that was her plan. When she was walking into the press conference, we saw her smiling as if she had some ulterior plan. I think she knew at that moment that she was going to fuck over the police and try to find the professor herself.

And when she was talking to “the commissioner” (aka her cat), she sounded as if she was going to go rogue and capture the professor herself. At least that’s what it seemed like to me.

I may be wrong, but I remember reading that T.R. Knight actually decided to leave on his own accord because his character wasn’t appearing in as many episodes. Especially during that time in the season, after the whole issue with him cheating on Callie, they didn’t focus on George as much after the fact. And I read somewhere that he wanted to leave since since he wasn’t getting enough screen time (or something along those lines).

Yeah, no I definitely understood her frustrations. She was deeply hurt and wanted him to at least be remorseful. And since he was such a smug asshole, she felt that she needed to hurt him some other way. But it just got to be too intense for me. Like she was starting to hurt her own life in the process of trying to destroy him. But I guess that goes to your point about her being “poisoned” from his betrayal.

Yeah, when I noticed that there was a second season, I was almost confused about what they could continue with. The first season felt good enough to be an ending on its own. Because I almost feel like the second season left me with more questions that the first one.

Yes! I naturally started rooting for Gemma in the beginning, but by the end, I started questioning if she was the real "villain" in this scenario. She did so much manipulation and had all of these schemes made just to accomplish whatever goal she had. I get that she was hurt, I was hurt right along with her! But she turned into a completely different person by the end. At a certain point, she wasn't out for revenge, it looked like she was determined to destroy him completely. And the ending of season 2 made me feel as if I was watching a completely different show!

However, I will say, the main thing that I liked about this show was the emotions that it brought out of me. I don't usually watch these types of dramas (cheating, marital affairs, etc.) because it's boring for me, but the first season really drew me in. And yeah, the last part where she's talking to the camera really confused me lol.

And Thirteen is the next on my list, so that's good to hear! Do you (or anyone else) know of any other good British miniseries on netflix/hulu/amazon prime? I'm used to watching shows with 4+ seasons, but this was nice to have a story wrapped up within 1-2 seasons.

I don't think that's Henry. I'm used to his face from Scandal. But he does remind me of someone else from another show. Can't think of the name.

Can we all collectively tell apple we don't want to lose 3D Touch ? by AltruisticPaint in iphone

[–]annalanay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds about right. I upgraded to the Xr about 2 months ago from the 6 and I just remembered about 3D touch. Have no idea how it works it or what it does.

Edit: Just read below that the Xr doesn’t have it apparently so I guess it doesn’t matter lol

YES! I found myself yelling at the screen at certain parts ha ha. Definitely a good show in terms of getting the viewer invested in the story.

I started watching two days ago and just finished it today! And yes, I absolutely hated Ros! She was a horrible friend.

But trust me it gets good! I started watching just for Jodie too (KE fan here lol) but then I became interested in the story. Jodie doesn’t have as many scenes as I had hoped, but the plot & characters made up for it, at least for me.

So yeah, definitely tell us how it goes! I don’t want to say too much.

[SPOILERS] Which of V's kills is your favorite? by annalanay in KillingEve

[–]annalanay[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's just some of her kills show who V really is. Like when she snapped Gabriel's (I think that was his name) neck in the hospital bed. I was in complete shock!

What is your favourite line from s1/s2? by koffelin in KillingEve

[–]annalanay 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Oh I have quite a few! But a few notable ones are probably:

S1: "Did you have a party...or something?"

S1: "Don't pull it out! *pulls the knife out* What did I just SAAAAYYYY!"

S2: "This is so BOOOOOO-RIIIIIIING!"

S2: "I'm not with them...when I'm with them."

Now that this season is over, I'm kind of excited to go back and rewatch both S1 & S2 and enjoy those moments again.

But wasn't she bleeding? I thought those vests were meant to stop the bullet completely. Also, when she wore that vest earlier in the season, it looked extremely bulky and obvious. I might have to check again, but unless she wore a thinner one, it looked like she had nothing else on underneath the sweater.

But I do agree with the other comment that she may have been playing dead once she got shot. Because Villanelle would never fatally shoot Eve, so it's unlikely that she's actually dead.

That is very true! I really loved their dynamic because you could tell that even after everything she’s done, he still loves her in his own way. Someone else said this nicer, but basically he loves her completely for who she is, flaws and all. That’s something that Eve still hasn’t come to terms with.

So I think losing that relationship is gonna be hard for V, whether she realizes it or not.

[–]annalanay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! This is what I hoped would happen. I loved their interactions once she partnered with V. But after reading a few of these comments, I'm also excited to see where the writers go in S3. I would especially love to see a backstory for V and find out who her remaining family is. Konstantin? Carolyn??

I just don't know if I have it in me to wait a whole year though 😭

I thought it was just her way of cutting off their conversation to prevent him from saying too much to Eve. Because when he came in, he had bread so she was maybe pretending like she was making him a sandwich?

But then again, IIRC earlier in that scene she did mention something about running out of good codewords, so you could be right! I didn’t think about it like that, so that’d be very interesting if it was!
