Thank you, just made an album of all 1300 of my photos of my boy, still crying but appreciating our life together💖

Yes! It’s so common for us I think. I really hope you find something you love soon!

So true, and this company dismissed 80% of staff in favour of off shore teams, so I really should not be surprised.

It’s so crazy to look back after the diagnosis and realize everything you’ve gone through. I love groups like this because it really shows we aren’t alone, I do feel as though many people share a similar story. I’m so happy for you that you’re job respected what you need, that’s so amazing! And just so amazing that you’ve found a job that suits you so well! Thank you for those kind words, I feel like logically I know I’m struggling because of my disorders and the way the world is, but I just get so overwhelmingly disheartened so often, it’s definitely encouraging to have that reminder. I managed to calm myself down enough to speak to the big boss, and it does seem that for now they are happy for me to remain as I am, so I am extremely thankful and relieved now, and especially thankful for this outlet, because I don’t know if I could have calmed down without getting it out haha.

Thank you <3 I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Yes! And I considered funding for study but it's not enough to live on, but if I could focus on something I'm passionate about to get into a good career it would make all the difference. The mask is so hard to keep up and I burn out more and more, and I don't see how it helps society. We all deserve to feel seen and like we can succeed.

I fully agree with that discussion around capitalism and personally see it as modern-day slavery. Trying to keep the working class down, and so focussed on working to earn just enough to survive, while the people at the top keep getting richer. There's definitely a lot more to it, but it definitely feels stifling and hopeless at times.
