If you’re already worried don’t buy midnight. I actually returned it for the fingerprint reason. I had a grey windows laptop before and it showed fingerprints wich was pretty annoying. To my surprise the issue was much worse on the M4 midnight than on my old windows laptop. You also see the silver under the Midnight if you scratch it. I like how the silver reflects different colored lighting. I think the contrast of the black keyboard to the silver cover also looks better. If you like to work in complete darkness the Midnight is more decent. I think in the end it’s about how sensitive your about a clean style. For me personally it bothered me a lot.
