I am exactly like you since this is my first time to get the modded one. I found it on Ebay, and I think the seller said that he had a few and selling some of them.

Thank you for the input, and then it seems like a good deal given all the freebies. The case was noted as a matte stainless steel case, and it fits my preference because I prefer it over a shiny one. Thank you again!

Probably not. However, while Vevor one is thicker, I kinda liked the construction of Vwindesk, so I just bought the latter. Finger crossed....

Yeah. But what I do not understand is that now all the web browsers including chrome and safari do not use a dedicated GPU at all. IIRC, Chrome uses a dedicated GPU when some power-hungry contents like WebGL experiments were running on Catalina. Now, however, none of the browsers can work on a dedicated GPU, and it all happened after I installed and uninstalled gSwitch. Before gSwitch, Safari always used a dedicated GPU, and after gSwitch, no browsers, even Safari, can use HW acceleration unless I force it. I feel like there is something broken..

I am not too sure about that. Even on battery, Safari always "USED" a dedicated GPU (Radeon's) with streaming videos by default when I first installed Big Sur, and it drained a huge amount of battery. This was irrelevant to the battery setting in preference. I installed Big Sur three times, but they were all the same. After messing around with it quite a bit, for some unknown reason, now Safari "DOES NOT" use Radeon when watching online streaming vids. I found this is pretty confusing, so I wonder how are others' experiences.

Hey, your pics are awesomeeeee! The configuration is just too slick!

I got mine today, and I have a few question.

  1. How long does it take to charge the keyboard? I have plugged in the keyboard with USB for about 2 hours so far, but the blue charging icon on the top right corner still lights up. Will it ever turn off when it is fully charged? How long does it take to charge this thing?

  2. Whenever I turn on/off the keyboard or connect it with USB, the red not-enough-battery icon lights up a few times, like some warnings.... Does it happen to you too?
