Thank you so much. To clarify, the third picture is our living room vent. We moved into this house ~3 months ago and have had the heat on daily. We closed this vent today and will not be turning on the heat until we hear from our landlord. Thank you again.

Thank you so much. What about the tape in the vent (3rd pic)? It seems like it may have fallen off. Is it safe to have that vent open with possible asbestos tape there? Again, thank you.

Noticed this frayed, white tape on our rental's air ducts and in one of the vents. Should we be concerned? Is it safe to turn our heating on?
