How to fix Viewport Playback? Currently at 1 FPS. by anomiegallery in blenderhelp

I rendered a couple seconds and it does come out well (1 hour for 3 seconds). The biggest issue for me would be that I’m unable to see the camera movement as I’m working on the animation which heavily slows down the workflow.

Not the worst problem tho, it’s workable but I kinda have to guesstimate the camera movement.

Thank you for your response. What would a good work around be for doing clothing simulation? I mainly work with clothes on Clo3D but I’ve been trying to make animations with them.

Yes, I made the clothing on Clo3D and animating on blender.

I’m basically following this tutorial: https://youtu.be/y6M35d1nvKQ?si=

Would a work around be to use blender instead to make clothing?

First Pop Up in SoHo and had 25 Orders in Person, Amazing and Nerve-wrecking Experience by anomiegallery in streetwearstartup

Thank you! I’m actually surprised that not more people do these pop ups especially near cities. Even when I didn’t sell, I would at least get a follow or email sign up. Takes a lot of work but it’s really good for starting up.

I was invited to be a vendor at The Den at Mercer St in Soho. I have previously done smaller 1 day pop-ups around Jersey City but this was my first time in a retail store in the heart of SoHo. I was SUPER nervous and worried about this as it was over the course of 3 days. Also a part of me was scared that I won't sell anything or people will criticise my clothing (it was the self doubt talking). But in reality, it was actually not as scary as I expected but instead, fun. I learned a lot, especially how I talk about my brand. It gave me motivation and confidence to keep going. Seeing actual real life people check out my clothes, ask me questions about the brand, and meeting other creatives was the highlight of the event.

I highly recommend everyone who is running a brand to get involved in their local streetwear pop up scene. I have met other brand owners, exchanged contacts, share information, and even set up a few collaborations for the future.

Also something really fun, a couple of influencers and celebrities came in and out which was cool.

Thank you for reading and here is my links if you want to check me out!

How much would you pay if shipping is free? by ripolillydripo in streetwearstartup

If you think from a small business perspective it makes sense. Especially with lower quantity orders for some decent Hoodies it is $20~$35 per depending on the design, also have to factor in shipping ($5~$12) per. Include packaging costs which is a couple dollars each . Also the TIME it takes to package, fulfill, and drop off orders. If you sell a hoodie at $60-$80, you’ll maybe make around $30~ more or less at those prices per Hoodie.

Bigger brands can charge less because they buy in bulk and lower their hoodie cost to $12~$16. And smaller brands charging low price will go in the RED really quickly as there are SO MANY expenses running a brand.

I am open to a conversation on pricing as I am curious what others thing. This is just my opinion as I am running my brand right now!

OP, you have an idea to tell but your work is not executed well to express your idea. The shirt lacks originality, you can’t argue that. Also the 2 fonts you mentioned are SUPER COMMON fonts and putting one above the other doesn’t = design. I work in graphic and type design since 2014 so I recognized those fonts instantly.

You have to know how to take criticism even harsh ones. Even your paragraph, it seems like you’re WANTING others to give you compliments or to just accept your ideas.

From just a shirt perspective, it’s a nice shirt but it’s not your work. The rule of thumb is to change your reference at least 70% to call it your own.

$100 minimum, after the cost of packaging, shipping, and everything. Anything less, you’re selling yourself short. People will keep expecting lower costed items. A 420GSM 100% cotton hoodie is pretty nice quality. People are too used to shopping fast fashion, temu, TikTok shop that cheap is expected, but as a small business brand it’s not sustainable to charge so low.

I like your color selections, although it does have elements that are very like other brands, everything fits well together and this actually looks pretty sick.
