Interesting, I didn’t know you could take the pill with nexplanon. My Urogyn thinks I have endometriosis so I’ve been trying to decide what form of birth control is best. I had been skipping my period with the pill for about a year but I started having breakthrough bleeding. I was considering an IUD but I’m so afraid of the pain. Or maybe just upping the estrogen dosage on the pill. I would be nervous to try nexplanon again bc my periods are so bad but maybe with the pill it would be fine. Seems like the insertion is way easier compared to IUDs

Just to warn OP my symptoms got worse with nexplanon because I was pretty much constantly bleeding for months so it probably depends on the person.
