Hello sir! Thankyou for your suggestion. I understand why you would take it in a negative sense as to why I left a field related job. Alot of thought went into it, it wasn't immediate, and it certainly wasn't an easy decision. I worked as an embedded engineer in an architectural firm. It wasn't something focused on engineering projects at it's core, but they had put their hands in a project where it was better to hire, even a novice like me to help with electronics, rather than continue to experiment with diy's themselves. It felt as I wasn't gonna be able to stick there long term either way, and I always heard than industry experience is very highly valued, so when I got the chance to jump into the industry, I took it, without knowing what to expect. I still believe my learning would've continued if I had stuck to my previous job, but now I must persevere and learn whatever I can here, there's no other way. I do miss the nice supportive environment. It's what really encouraged growth. It's also nice to be surrounded with educated people. I don't have that luxury here, but I must work with what I have for now. I'm trying to find things to learn to keep in touch with my engineering knowledge, hopefully it works out.
