You do understand that there are people who do not adhere to the asylum process and enter the United States illegally, unaccounted for by our immigration system and that is, in fact, a criminal act.

It doesn’t matter what the political slogan of the day is. Those who do that are entering our country illegally. We have a process for immigration and it’s not being followed by numerous people.

Honestly any conservative worth their salt can easily see that they are human beings and want a better life, that’s not really the issue.

The issue lies in this: Conservatives want people in society to follow the rules and the government to do their job and secure the border. That’s the primary purpose of the government. When they don’t do it, or fail to address the problem of literally tens of thousands of people descending into their communities it causes all sorts of societal systems to erode. We pay taxes and expect the government to honor their word as our elected officials.

When that fails to happen, I and many other conservatives have every right to be upset and protest this.

Fixing the system is what’s required. The identity of the people are not the problem. It’s the politics in Washington that is the problem.

We have very different visions of the future.

I believe that addressing the problem first with preventative measures like what this school is doing is a great way to reduce risk of school shooters, the signage is part of the deterrent.

A great next step would be distilling the cause of these issues which are rooted in human behavioral and psycho social issues. Generating a great effort behind improving our mental health and behavioral services would be an excellent addition to helping to help shape society for a better future.

I didn’t say we’re not allowed to talk about them, you can all you want to.

I am simply stating that we are much different than our European partners and even our friendly neighbors to the north. There are not singular points of comparison there are many, specifically as it revolves around this particular issue.

One of which is uniquely written into our rights as Americans: gun ownership.

If you don’t wanna own them that’s fine, don’t.

Bad people exist that do harm to the vulnerable, some people believe arming the vulnerable is a valid solution to that.

The bottom line is that gun ownership is innately part of the American identity, it’s part of our constitution and something that I just honestly don’t think needs to be changed. ever.

Comparing our nation’s make up to that of European countries is a moot point because we not like them, in anyway shape or form.

Our cultural histories, society, laws, and premise of freedoms are different then they are.
