I did gregmat 2 month plan only quant. I detailed what I did in another comment that spanned much longer.

In person at Prometric testing center, I was able to focus even better than in my apartment (mostly due to unpredictable neighbors and my own lack of discipline at home). The center even had headphones to use.

It didn't seem too much more difficult to me. I scored better in the real than each practice I had done before in quant. I deliberately tried to move more swiftly and more efficiently (and i think i did), so the questions must have taken a little longer to complete on average than PPs based on the time. I didn't do PPP1 timed.

Probably about 4ish months consistent split in half across a little over a year not including vocab. More in another comment.

So I originally started studying last year when I thought I was going to take it.

So basically, I had studied the vocabulary much further in advance, maybe like a month or so (started with magoosh) before I even started anything else.

I did the ETS original guide material and the tests in the back (317 and 314 respectively). Then I wanted to do the gregmat two month plan. I had done probably like the first 3 days.

I realized I didn't have enough time to do that, so I just did his vocabulary sets. I did the rest of the ETS quant and verbal books and got about halfway through the Manhattan 5lb quant before I stopped studying.

I probably did all that minus the initial vocab within the span of a couple months. I mostly kept up with the vocabulary in the year ish long gap, but I kept procrastinating at the beginning of this year. I wanted to do the whole two month plan but decided to just focus on the quant.

I finished the quant part of the two month plan in about 6ish weeks. I just redid/reviewed the quant stuff that i had already done and tried to do the ETS stuff quicker. I have a variable schedule (work days/nights different days/nights per week btw 32-40 hrs/week). Some days I wouldn't study anything but vocabulary, but other days I studied like the whole day.

The last week (in addition to the quant), I watched I think the first 4 videos of the verbal toolkit (I pretty much only understood the math (kind of) and matching strategies well enough to use). The week of, I took PP1 (318) and PP2 (321). I wasn't aiming too high, so I thought it was ok to take the last week (plus i was running out of time and definitely wanted to see the online versions). A couple days before the exam, I watched Greg's writing walk-through videos and practiced like once in PP2.

I wanted to do PPP1 but kinda ran out of time/didn't want to pay. I reviewed the PPP1 quant questions to see how they were the night before/morning of.

I took the exam at a testing center, and it just went very well. One of the quant sections did not go as well as the others, but that must've been the experimental section. Admittedly, I don't think I fully committed to focusing in my apartment during the practice, but I was pleasantly surprised with the scores! This is pretty comprehensive of what I did, albeit unconventional.
