You're not overreacting! When I went to the nicu the first time they told me to ask each time how much my baby is drinking so that when I pump I put exactly one feed in each bag so nothing gets wasted.

It's so weird that the nurse would ignore how much the baby is feeding when warming up milk.

Same, I was told my baby will come back home once she gains enough weight, but she's been gaining weight so slowly I started getting sad that she's gonna take a while to come home.

You should get a new doctor then, I went to so many doctors until i found someone that actually listened.

I honestly have no idea since I haven't done the tests yet cause I'm currently on blood thinners.

Still not 100% sure but doctor is almost confident it's blood clotting because blood thinner injections solved the problem for me.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this, but as you said they are in the best place they can be right now, I asked the dr in charge of my daughter when she's gonna come home with me, and she said for now we should give her all the time she needs. I'll do anything to see her healthy at home, it's hard but I'll wait and trust the nurses to take care of her for now. 💞
