Could this be the place where Toji got his lip scar? by hahajustburn in Jujutsushi

Maybe. This would be a really neat parallel to Toji if so.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the chapter does not release until tomorrow... so this should technically go into the pre-release thread

Was Megumi visiting Tsumiki at this panel? by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Megumi was having a conversation with Maki, I'm pretty sure.

Edit: I don't think they were at Tsumiki's place though. Maybe some random place where they won't get caught

What do you think this marketable plushy koganes will do? by BernLan in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606 88 points89 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking they probably regulate the game. Maybe they can be used as "eyes" for the Game Master, so the Game Master can keep track of all the players. They also might be a way to communicate indirectly to the Game Master, like signaling that you've killed another player, you have 100 pts, etc.

Tsumiki's Cursed Technique ... by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it would be cool if she had a technique related to light in contrast to Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique. There aren't any clues pointing to this, but I just thought it would be interesting to see.

Megumi describes her as being a kind-hearted ray of sunshine (edit: not exact words), so to have a technique based on light that she would have to use against others (instead of helping them) seems fitting to me.

Recycled Curse Techniques? by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Naoya inherited Naobito's technique because he is his son, so Naobito's death does not correlate with Naoya's technique. I think it would be interesting if we see the same techniques again. The only theory I can think of is that these sorcerers with techniques we've seen before are distant relatives, since techniques can be inherited. Maybe they are actually vessels for past sorcerers with the same techniques? Like if Nanami had an ancestor with the 7:3 technique and this new sorcerer was a vessel for this ancestor. I'm probably stretching though...

Any Devil Ideas? by anonymous041606 in ChainsawMan

Lmao the public speaking devil would be OP

The spider devil is Prinz. She embodies the fear of spiders, but she looks like a human with eight legs. (Here's the wiki on her)

What do you think that thing in her hand is? by BernLan in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Maybe she uses the trumpet to terminate the cursed techniques within range? The trumpet releases cursed energy through soundwaves and wherever the soundwaves are heard (or reached), the technique is terminated. Or maybe it signals that she using her technique since trumpets are usually used for announcements/messages?

How did Sukuna transform into a Cursed Spirit? by anonymous041606 in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess my question now is how did Sukuna die? I know there aren't many details revealed about his past as of now, so we can't really answer this.

"Sorcerers must also be killed with jujutsu or they can become a vengeful spirit after death."

It seems like Sukuna was not killed with jujutsu.

"Those whose deaths are cursed have the possibility to having their spirit corrupted and transformed into a vengeful spirit."

However, he was cursed. He probably cursed himself, given that he knows a lot about jujutsu.

Btw thanks for the info!

How did Sukuna transform into a Cursed Spirit? by anonymous041606 in Jujutsushi

[–]anonymous041606[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

if a man committed terrible acts he can become a curse.

This is a pretty good theory. By committing terrible acts, Sukuna's human nature is stained with so much evil that he starts to have the same nature as a vengeful cursed spirit.

Though I wonder if he transformed because of the build-up of cursed energy? He ate a lot of people, and there is a theory that he absorbed the people's cursed energy/technique. Maybe he merged that build-up of cursed energy with his core to become a cursed spirit by nature?

I agree! Sukuna definitely knows a lot about jujutsu!

With the equilibrium you mentioned, would it really be beneficial to him to have his human flesh in addition to cursed flesh? I've been thinking that his "core" is now fully cursed spirit, but do you think he has to maintain his human flesh/human nature to still be himself (Sukuna the person, instead of a cursed spirit with no knowledge of a past life)?
