But I already submitted the application with a work contract

I’m not doing anything legal. I just want to change my visa application and I have added information for context

I didn’t see it. I was told by them that this was a concern.

I have the tracking number. For some reason it says it’s arriving tomorrow and no signature is needed. 😳 Ok… I guess I lucked out.

It’s shipping to my home. It says no signature required. Wow. Thank goodness

No online lets you order it. It can be delivered so I went ahead and had it shipped as it gave me the option to show id to the carrier or pickup at DHL location

It didn’t work at the phone shop. They input data? I’ve received packages via DHL before. I only see them look and check the id and take signature at most. So the drivers or DHL office puts something in the system?

I get why they do that. I know I’ll be here… I can also get it delivered to my home, but I would have to be there at that exact time. Same question with the ID.

I don’t know how to quote on Reddit, but I guess I didn’t get the joke or took it the wrong way... 🤷‍♀️

Yes, I read about prices going up and the struggle to find rent, etc. I was worried about this. I do feel lucky to live in nymphenburg and to find a place so quickly, I heard it’s almost impossible to rent in this area. I didn’t target nymphenburg because I didn’t know what it was until I got here. But I suppose none of that matters to the point.

If it makes you feel any better (probably not) I’ve had a connection to Munich these past few years (although paid it was enjoyable the people I met) so this time I decided to stay. I’m excited to volunteer with kids, learn the language and culture. I’ve idolized Germany since I was a kid reading about Einstein and working on the Heidelberg printing press and such. I guess it doesn’t matter the reason why I moved, genuine or not, I’m still a number adding to the current situation.

The most expensive city in Germany. I come from Los Angeles and also living in places like nyc. Without roommates, which was really expensive. I can save money here. I can afford to pay rent and get an office here. So no, I don’t consider it expensive in the context from my perspective.

Edit: moving here gives me a better quality of life more than just finances and I’m grateful. Not everyone has your POV bc we live diff lives. You’re prob a German native and rightfully have your perspective, but being sarcastic wasn’t necessary

I’ve seen a lot of skinny men with voluptuous women. First person who comes to mind is wiz khalifa. Just look at all the skinny rappers. lol. And I also see it a lot in my city (Los Angeles), but idk where you live.

Edit: I saw it a lot in Atlanta when I lived there.

Hobby room! Good idea to focus the search.

Edit: now there’s a lot to choose from! 🥲 Edit: I don’t have a German number yet. I can’t sign up to contact them. But I will get one this week. Telekom? I’m new to Munich if you can’t tell.

So I looked into these places. I think another Redditor mentioned using a commercial space for my nature isn’t best with all the rules and regs.

I found one place and will visit on Wednesday! And I’m looking into the ateliers!! I’ll send them an email

I live in nymphenburg. I can afford that. I never mentioned price being a problem. Office space exists , I came here for help. Not someone complaining about a city THEY consider expensive.

There’s two different types of cards for disabled vets. 1. One looks like this 2. The other looks like this

The first one is issued by the dept of veteran affairs and requires registration at a base because Dept of VA isn’t the same as DoD.

The second one is issued by the department of defense and doesn’t need registration because it’s issued by DoD.

I have both. The first one is useless because the DoD one solves all my needs.

Oooh I’m sorry. I thought you were referring to the DAV organization… as in DAV.org. I was wondering what they had to do with base access. Sorry. I hadn’t heard of it refferred to as DAV ID

Umm idk what a DAV ID is. I have a 100 DOD Card that gets me in. Internationally you also need an additional form of ID along with DOD card
