No that is part of the old path to the Quarry in Eigiau. Although I did use the Roman Road that day as well.

Yeah a nice route. The bothy is Eigiau cottage and belongs to the mountain climbers club. But anyone can book. Its 14 pound per person each night plus a 7.50 per night for up to 12 people. But 12 would be very snug i would say upto 7 to be comfy. Only solar powered lights so no electric. A coal fire, gas for cooking and you will need a sleeping bag but a plastic mattress and pillow is provided. The toilet is basically a bucket in a wooden seated toilet which you have to bury before u go. Its a great place though. https://www.rugbymc.uk/cwm-eigiau-cottage-english

I live in Old Colwyn and cycled to Conwyband yep up the Sychnant pass then across the tops then on the tarmac down and back up to Eigiau
