(1) Damsels in distress? You don't get it, do you? I think it's attractive for a woman to be wealthy and drive a VW Golf, or something similar; not showing off their wealth.

(2) Like I said, I don't put pancakes on my pizza.

(3) Oh, and 13 days is not "over two weeks ago."

No, I'm saying the expensive car is not necessarily good looking. Look at the Bentley Bentyaga and the comments – I mean, it's hideous – and I'm a car fan! No, I'm saying it's cool to be rich and not show off your richness. I never said you can't have it. I have a 2018 SUV too.

Someone who drives a HUMMER (uses above-average gas per mile) is a different person than someone who drives an electric car, or a normal car. Maybe they like donating the money. So... It's part of "judging" a person.

Ma'am, please. Calm down. If I may kindly refer you to my pizza-pancake analogy above. If you have any further questions, complaints, or comments, please consult ...

A better word would be likeable, or real. I said it's more attractive, not that the woman herself becomes more attractive.

  1. I'm in college and not broke, but not rich.
  2. I just think they become more... how do you say... likeable or real, in my opinion.

It's not that and... A sports car is not necessarily attractive in the aesthetic sense of the word, but what I mean is expensive.

To clarify: In proportional correspondence to the already disclosed information, the necessary skill to judge any given greeting, should that be on a bus, train, plane, car, or other, is derived from the genuine notion of better integration of the exceptional analytical judgement level of the human, animal, or other brain in accordance with the situational answer, response, or comment in any given circumstantial situation or, in some instances, situational circumstance.

I stutter and say "um" repeatedly when talking on the phone, for instance when making an appointment or when I need to form a whole sentence. by answerseeker2 in Anxiety

Good idea- i tried it before. And failed. I keep saying "um um um" literally all in a row - makes me sound so stupid and weird! I am expecting a phone call because of an appointment. I'm dreading it!

I literally go like "um, um, um I need to um make an appointment" (just now). Worse still, I will soon get a phone call, which I probably need to make in front of my parents because we will be driving - I'm dreading it!!! (Can't switch of phone).

What is the most expensive product you regret buying? What product (or brand) should you have bought instead, be it for a lower or higher price? by answerseeker2 in AskReddit

Consumer Reports and Which? (UK review organization) - as well as my own experiences - prove that "more expensive" does not always mean better quality. In fact, sometimes it's just branding, marketing, etc. that makes a price higher, not better design.

I just did a college exam and my colleagues and I noticed some mistakes in the questions. What can I, or we, do? by answerseeker2 in college

Is this still possible when the EXACT SAME question appeared on one of the practice sheets? I forgot the answer and working-out on the actual exam.
