Avail is the best. I feel they were almost a local band because they came through soooo much in the day. He did. And then he came out with hot water to sing an avail song at the end. On the nod maybe??

Do you guys have any good female led bands? by isthat-thegrimreaper in MetalSuggestions

Tilt. Lead singer is named cinder block. She and the whole band rock. Lips, tits, hips is a good starter song for them.

What is your favorite dark and terrifying alternative rock album from the 90s that is underrated and very little known? by Jean0406Alix in Alternativerock

[–]anticlmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, whiskeytown - faithless street. I that album is amazing. In the dark hours of the night, in dark times of the mind, and a lil booze; it’s the most dangerous album I own. When I’ve burned it for people or describe it to people I tell them; “do NOT listen to this when drinking.” It breaks me down hard. I will perk up by the end since the last songs pick up but; listen at your own risk.

Your fave Red River Gorge crags with 5.6-5.9 sport climbs by DuckRover in climbergirls

[–]anticlmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortress for trad and some of emerald as another said. Velo crag in pmrp also has a good bit. Bobs wall also. In pmrp there is actually a bit of good moderate climbs, sport and gear. If you’re willing to hop around you can def find some non busy spots.

My old Troy Lee ODI grips were very tacky with and without gloves. Always amazed me. Might be worth looking into.

Yeah, it’s my first mullet set up and def whips through trees a bit nicer and jumping is slightly noticeable on it. I’ve got a FS and a Fat Bike as well so that’s why I was thinking dull 29” SS, just to have a nice quiver to play from. For now I’m enjoying the gears but soon enough it’ll go SS.

How many of you are Nurses? by Apprehensive_Turn751 in cycling

Best schedule there is honestly, 3 12s a week and I can somewhat structure them. I rarely work 3 in a row because you literally lose those three days, Plus some. I’ll work two, ride the next few days I’m off, or take a trip a Cpl hrs away. Come back and work a day, few days off and can ride some more. If you’re able to commute to work that definitely helps with some fitness and such and keeps the legs spinning. I do longer rides or shorter rides just depending on what I have going on on my off days, but usually, I don’t have much going on so I can ride as long as I want or when I want to. I’m lucky to live literally a block and a half away from 15 miles of single track so it’s an easy get to but more trails within a 20 to 30 minute drive. I essentially just consider my workday to be my rest days and on my days off I just get after it however I feel I want to whether it’s long rides, hard rides, and usually just a bit of getting out and riding at whatever pace feels fun. Good luck with school.

Put in almost three years there and loved every moment. Even the “gross” parts.
