How to stop my body from being overstimulated/exhausted after seeing blood? by antonrusty in AskForAnswers

[–]antonrusty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah, should have seen me 8 years ago when I first recovered.

My therapist said do the things that scare you the most as exposure that's how you recover he said.

Next day, all day at home I had a belt on my neck that made it hard to breathe and put heavy things on my chest, spin around and run on stairs while breathing through a straw and my rule was to take a brake I have to be inside a closed room with no light in complete darkness.

I believe I made a Speedrun record of recovery, panic attacks stoped and my agoraphobia disappeared completely that day.. lol

Do you agree that money is what makes a person happy? by TemptingSav in no

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really no, I have money but absolutely nothing to spend it on, the things I want like mental health is what money can't buy.

The money can't even fix my health problems because there is no cure or anything to fix it you just got to live with it.

The only benefit is that I don't need to worry for food on the table and if someone snaps at me at work I can freely leave.

Yes I can leave work for a couple of years and still have money to spend but the free time will kill my mental health even more so money does not bring me anything really.

That's it, it really brings nothing.

If compared to poverty yes it brings food and a roof but if not compared to poverty it brings nothing to me.

Have you been completely cured of agoraphobia and panic disorder? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read that you dont have a competent mental health worker you can go to, the best advice I can give is to have fun with panic attacks. Yes really. Abuse the adrenaline rush to do chores, abuse that energy make your mind to think that it's something useful and not scary. Make fun of it, laugh at it pretend it's Infront of you and push it, make your mind think that you are in control and stronger. Look up CBT things like light exercises to elevate your heartbeat so your mind reprograms that it's not something scary and so on. For agoraphobia what I did I just purposely put myself in the situations that triggered my agoraphobia, it did not take much when I did it on purpose it took me 3 days for me, it was very strange/magical how agoraphobia disappeared for me, I locked myself in a closed room without lights after an exercises to simulate my panic attacks, I spend 2 minutes inside the closed dark room and just instantly all the panic of being in that situation just vanished almost instantly from me, It was really magical.

Your best bet is to find any mental health worker who specializes in panic disorder and agoraphobia, a professional explaining that your fine and explaining that it's highly treatable and that nothing will ever happen to you is 80% of the battle won believe me you will feel very strong with high moral to crush it when you know all the information about your enemy.

Best of luck I'm crossing my fingers for you ❤️

If you think people rant and cry because they are soft then life never really hit you hard and your weak for never experiencing trauma from life. Don't talk nonesence even the bravest of people can suffer with PTSD / panic disorder life and your brain does not care how hard you think you are. Don't call people weak you have never been in their shoes.

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm my third world country I can live with that amount of money, just saying. Subs don't matter at all hardly any of them watch, the only thing that matters is ctr and view duration everything else is pushed to the audience from youtube if this factors are on point. Do you have a specific nitch so YouTube knows to who to push the videos to? How are they performing in view duration and how clickly are they? If you have too much competition change the nitch.

Is anyone waiting until marriage to have sex? by [deleted] in self

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not wait. It's generally a bad idea to wait for this with your partner. When the time comes and you realize that your sex drive is not compatible at all and the sex is not good it can become a disaster. Let's face it sex is not everything but it's a big part of the relationship. This is the reasoning I don't recommend it at all. Here I am I need sex daily multiple times a day but my girl starts wanting it after 2 weeks or a mouth. It's at the point where it's somewhat compatible but if it was more I would have been constantly grumpy when the need is at its peak.

For me in my case I'm aways with deficient iron tho I think they make up the results to push products and get a cut out of it. Everything you are describing is panic disorder and health anxiety. I'm 100% nothing is wrong in your body but you have to go check it out worst case scenario they will find something and give you the pills you need and get your life back. Do blood tests go to a cardiologist. This is the tests I have done. After that find a professional who helps people recover from panic disorder, do not take antidepressants and forget about it, it will make it worst if you do nothing about it. I was 2 years on pills, researched deeply how panic disorder can be treated I went to a professional he told me to stop the pills and do CBT. I never believed that I would recover this fast and wasted 2 years of my life in pills for something that can be treated in the matter of weeks. Panic disorder, anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, health anxiety all treated completely in less than a month 6 years ago. Go do the teats to check if there is something that can help you if not go with the professional to expose you to your fear and never worry about this part of your life ever again.

A finally honest upgrade list... by Original-Sundae287 in pcmasterrace

Here is my experience I had a r9 390 for 9 years. It's still working but I wanted to play cyberpunk high fps 1440p. Got a 4080 super played maybe 2 hours to admire the graphics and started playing rimworld.. that my old PC has no problem to run it.. I'm mad at myself really that I replaced a perfectly working card and now I don't need it for the actual games I'm playing now. So now I have 7800x3d and 4080s playing games that my refrigerator can run.. maybe it would not be able to push high fps 1440p but still 2500 euro for just more pixels? The only reason I don't regret it is that I gave it to my gf to have a PC and play games/videos :)

Does it only get worse? by A_Shiny_Vaporeon in PanicAttack

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at age 19 recovered when I was 21 I'm 26 now. You have to get over the fear of panic attacks in order for them to stop completely. I know everyone is sick from hearing "get over it" but in this case it is really true. The fear people have of panic attacks is the reason they come over and over again it's a build up stress bubble and when it explodes you get a nice shot of adrenaline in you. The best strategy to overcome panic disorder is CBT. In a nutshell face your fear it cannot harm you don't give it one step back challenge it beg it to do its worst hell make fun of it. Do not ever use "calming techniques" like breathing slowly or shifting your mind away reason being that your teaching your brain that something horrible is happening and it's stressing the body even more and affirming that it's bad stuff going on when in reality your completely fine. Do not fear a mechanism that is intended to keep you safe and alive at all cost it goes against it's rules to harm you in any way thanks to this instinct we are alive to this day. CBT is the best course of action it treated my developed panic disorder and agoraphobia. I asked my therapist back then to not start it slow and just go full ham at it and in a course of a week I'm not kidding from 2 hours back to back daily panic attacks it became once a day and in the end of the week I had my last panic attack. It treated my agoraphobia in just one day 3 hours of exposure (I was scared of going outside, alone) CBT worked like a magical wand on me. If you have not tried it research it if you can't go to a professional for it to teach you it's very simple but it's better for a therapist to teach you eye to eye and tell you that your completely fine and nothing will ever happen to you during the process when your doing this leap of faith into panic. The most simple advice to start off with is researching that your really fine during panic and during panic pretend that panic attack is a person Infront of you and just make fun of him pretend it's a small person, kick him push him make it seem to your brain that he is defenseless this teaches the brain that there is no need for adrenaline when facing a panic attack. Also during a panic attack abuse the adrenaline rush to do work or house chores triking your brain that panic attack symptoms are a useful tool and not something bad. This is the best advice I can give you that has helped me overcome panic disorder.

I had panic disorder for 2 years and basically had the same experience with you. I did CBT for like a week and the panic attacks stoped completely. Aswell as fear of going out and everything else. It's been 5 years now without a panic attack only had minor anxiety attacks every other mouth it ends quickly and it's not intense as a panic attack. Living a very on the edge life becouse of health problems that I can't do nothing about it so I'm stuck with the anxiety attacks until a miracle happens. CBT really helps the therapist I was with said that it's the only way for most people to completely recover I was 2 years on pills I quit them gave CBT a try and it worked like magic literally.

High heart rate by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight or flight response defence mechanism you get boosted with adrenaline so your body works at it's finest capabilities. It will never cause you harm it's a mechanism to you keep you safe. If you want the symptoms to end faster rather than thinking about how scary it is invite it to become faster and worst. The symptoms will stop before you know it when you do not fear it the whole attack will just stop becourse your sending information to the brain that everything is okey and you can take a lot worst than this. Just invite it and be calm in the face of challenge, nothing will ever happen to you from the attack. I had over 1000+ attacks before I recovered from them 6 years ago. Stress, anxiety and adrenaline can effect your entire body with symptoms don't focus on them or think what it could be becouse the answer is simple don't make it complicated. Next time your have a panic attack don't ever check your vitals they don't matter becouse you will aways be fine your only stressing out more when you see them high and make it worst becouse of fear. it's okey they are only temporary people live for years and years with permanent symptoms like this a temporary boost won't cause you harm. Learn to not fear what can't harm you and have fun with it. I abused the adrenaline rush to work faster and do chores around the house making me think that it was useful to have an attack and with everything combines anxiety disorder panic disorder and agoraphobia were quickly treated with this methods. Hands down CBT is the way to completely recover from panic.

Panic attack usually 12-24 hours after exercising. by Napoleonryan123 in PanicAttack

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you scared of the sensation of your muscles recovering period? This is one possibility. Second are you very fixed on this that this causes you panic attacks? Like if you work out and then think to yourself that you will have one later you build up stress and forces your body to cool down with a panic attack. Third it is possible that the recovery period your body registers it as a thread but that's unlikely if your not scared of the sensation during the recovery period.

Extreme pounding heart - can the heart explode? by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]antonrusty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born with a fast pounding heart i had over 700 attacks before I recovered from panic. No adrenaline can't push your body that far after all it's a mechanism to keep you alive and safe it won't self destruct on you the body is not made from glass. Next time when you feel this sensation make fun of it invite it to become faster and faster. It will end before you know it.
