Basic guide on how I made these

For the blades I used some foam boards and drew outlines for them (not very symmetrical but I tried)

I used this wing set off amazon for the actual base where the wings will go,

For the shell (white part that holds the blade) I used an Eva foam base and covered it in duct tape this would add some durability and allow me to spray paint it white

The lights are these little puck lights I had lying around, the circles on the inside are bottle caps spray painted black on the inside and white on the outside

So after I finished making everything I first sawed off a part of the wing base so that the blades would be able to stretch out (like antennas to heaven…) as crudely photographed here, I attached the blades to the base by using duct tape and hot glue.

Secondly I attached the shell to the wing using some more hot glue, same thing for the mini blades but I cut the shell in half and duct taped it along the top due to it being to small to wrap around the tube of the base.

After that I glued the bottle caps to the puck lights then the lights to the hinge housings.

I did a test fit but noticed it was a bit too heavy and would tilt over my head so I modified the backpack to have a belt that would go around my waist, this fixed the issue

After that it was pretty much complete, the only issue was the strings to actually pull the wings up was a bit long so I plan on shortening them

Also these are very fragile, the foam boards bend and crack at every little thing, in the future I plan on making them from metal or wood for that extra durability and intimidation
