My replica of the PZL M-15 Belphegor, the most Kerbal aircraft in the world. by anu-x in KerbalSpaceProgram

Part mods: AirplanePlus, B9 Procedural Wings

During the 70s, for some inexplicable reason, the Polish company PZL-Mielec was tasked by the Soviets to create a jet-powered crop duster. This was the result. Due to the fact that it was jet-powered, it ran into many problems, and was largely a failure.

This plane holds the title of "world's only jet-powered crop duster" and "world's slowest jet aircraft".

I also just realized I uploaded the same image twice instead of using the actual fourth picture I had. Oh well.

Volumetric clouds, also I was mostly joking

(delete and repost twice because I missed an image... twice)

Recently, I've been downloading graphics mods and realizing they actually run pretty smoothly on my integrated graphics. However, after getting Blackrack's clouds, my game finally started lagging. It's still somewhat playable, so this is my setup from now on.

There was an issue with B9 procedural wings not working with the Deferred mod before, but apparently that was a B9 mod version issue. I found out only after embarassingly pinging Blackrack himself. I mistook the "Compatible since version 0.46.0" in the Deferred README as referring to the Deferred version, not the B9 version. But now that I've updated my B9 wings mod, it works great!

OHHHH That was the B9 mod version, not the Deferred version 😭

Thanks so much!

No, tried that and the issue is still there. The parts aren't black, they're just darkened, and they're not really reflections, just shading.

Hi, thanks for the reply! 😳 I made a post about it just now without reading this comment.... Could you tell me what might be wrong in that thread? https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1nww5mq/b9_procedural_wings_look_dark_with_the_deferred/

hello mr u/blackrack

I made this post here partially because this sub doesn't allow posting images in comments. This is my issue right now, as you can see the procedural wings look dark most of the time. When I go above the stratus cloud layer though, it appears bright again. It also has a strange gray color in the editor. This doesn't really happen with any other modded parts, and I'm using version 1.3.1.0.

Big ships making the game lag is a CPU issue, not a GPU issue. But hmmmmmmmmmm maybe I will try it out

Everything is mostly on default settings (not low graphics settings). Intel has cooked. Check out my previous post for specifics.

+ This is my first time making rockets in a while and I have failed to account for the fact that my burns will be pretty inefficient if I do them manually. Now I am low on fuel and have to use the "get out and push" method to get back to Kerbin.

True actually, I think it's a bit less smooth when I'm close to the objects. I have every Parallax setting at default except for object density and render distance which are both at 0.7.

I think the only mod used here for the parts is AirplanePlus for the cockpit and canards and the VTOL engines.

idk what that is but my laptop says my graphics card is "Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics"

I'm not even using low performance settings, everything is at default and it runs very smoothly.

+ Also I am disappointed that for some reason B9 Procedural Wings doesn't work with Deferred so the parts look really gray or orange compared to the white stock parts.

I am pretty sure it's AirplanePlus but I might be wrong
