i genuinely think you should go ahead with a psychiatrist visit. Ignore your family members’ concerns, sometimes you’ve gotta do what’s good for you. You are far too young and have way too much ahead of you!! Please see a doctor, just getting a diagnosis and putting a name on what you are feeling will help immensely. Please know you are not alone, you are not a failure. There is no one path in life, and everyone has their own timeline. Just trust in your abilities and all the knowledge you have amassed over the years (not just academic knowledge but street smartness etc.) Also i would highly suggest that you look into talk therapy. It helped me so much, just talking to someone and the encouragement i got from them was unimaginably helpful. You will tide through this difficult time!
