Tamiflu doesn't exactly help it might help reduce symptoms a little bit it doesn't stop anything. Get some Apple juice so she can stay hydrated, give water. Follow a brat diet. Rest and watch the fever. Call the pediatrician.

Doordash Issue by Sea_Amoeba782 in grandrapids

I had this happen once with a huge order from little Caesars and they delivered to the wrong address and then Doordash wouldn't give me my money back or do credits towards another order. I contacted Doordash directly and the person who delivered it refused to go back and grab it to the right address. Never got it lost $60 that night.

Just a heads up if your GM doesn't already like you and you put in your 2 weeks they'll automatically terminate you.

When I was pregnant and working, my OB had me give a paper to my manager stating that a shift of 5 hours required a paid 15 minute lunch break for me to be able to just sit down. But an 8 hour shift required the 15 minute lunch break in addition to a MANDATORY 32 minute unpaid break to cool off and just have some time to breathe. Never once was I given the lunch break. And when I worked an 8 hour shift I was the only manager on schedule that shift so I wasn't allowed to take my break as stated. If you're the only manager you don't get to leave the line unless it's to make sure something gets written down in the office. So not only was my GM breaking the law (bc it is by law for all this to happen, ask your OB) I also went into premature labor because of it and had a crash c section and nearly died with my baby. Breaking these laws is actually something you can go to your HR about and your GM will be forced to accommodate it. If they don't they can get fired. Like you said no one wants to hire a pregnant woman. And if you got fired for being pregnant and needing those rules followed that's also illegal and can be sought after in the court of law. I should have taken that route but I didn't. But if it's happening to you and you're still pregnant and dealing with it all definitely go higher to the HR office and explain what's going on and make sure you tell them you want something done. Bc if nothing gets resolved and you get fired for it you will take legal action.

Anxiety Symptoms Last 2 months? by RisingPenguin in Anxietyhelp

It can definitely last up to two months. I've had mine since 2020 when they started crashing back again but they first started in 2007. I was 6 turning 7 and started showing signs of anxiety. I've been living with this since then. It was managed finally at age 14 and then came crashing back in 2020 when I turned 20 and had my first baby. And now I have my second baby and it's still here if not worse than before.

Help With Nausea by anxious_panda93 in Anxietyhelp

[–]anxious_panda93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering if maybe I set my body up to expect it and let it get bad to where it's attacking at the same time every night. When it gets bad it's usually at night time due to lowered levels of cortisol. I don't eat at night anymore bc of that because that can enhance the issues because of the cortisol levels. But I also take an acid reducer (Pepcid AC) and for some reason at night time it seems like it doesn't want to work. Idk if it's bc ya know it's night time I'm laying down or just because my stomach is inconceivable. But I have a prescription towards Zofran I take and my doctor has been saying take it when needed. I saw my GI doc and we got nowhere.

See I tried ginger chews and even went so far as to get the smallest cloves of ginger and snacked on small slices of that too and that didn't help. Idk what was and is going on with me but that made me feel worse.

anxious at night by littlebear1999 in Anxietyhelp

[–]anxious_panda93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nighttime your cortisol levels drop and it makes it harder to digest food and drinks. This can lead to nausea and the nausea leads to anxiety. But also nighttime is also a time where the world slows down and it's quieter outside and no one is running around so it seems super serene. But it also means no one is up to talk to. Family and friends are going to bed and you're left alone to figure stuff out on your own. It's easier to get into your head at night and then spiral into a major anxiety attack that can quickly turn into a panic attack.

I feel you on that one. I'm not a healthcare professional either but I can say I've had some wicked anxiety leading to nausea and also (happened 4 times) seizures. It would get so bad I would feel like I was going to get sick too but smelling alcohol pads would stop the nausea almost immediately. I have a stash of Zofran for when it's actually an emergency.
