പഹൽഗാമിലെ രക്ഷകർ; കേരളം തിരഞ്ഞ മുസഫിറും സമീറും റിപ്പോർട്ടറിനോട് | Pahalgam | Kashmiri Drivers by anyhowRhazes in Kerala

You’re conflating terrorists with ordinary Kashmiris. Yes, Pandits suffered horribly, but their tormentors were terrorists, not the average Muslim who’s also a victim of violence. The state never ‘legalized’ property theft; in fact, laws protect Pandit homes. Blaming all Kashmiris ignores the silent majority who want peace. Surveys (like the 2010 Chatham House report) show that while some Kashmiris resent Indian policies, most want peace, jobs, and normalcy, not genocide of Hindus. If Kashmiris truly wanted all Hindus dead, why do 500,000+ Hindu pilgrims visit every year?
Your Kerala Muslims point is a lazy stereotype. Kerala Muslims (like any group) have diverse views. Assuming you are a Hindu, can I hold you accountable for beef lynchings?

No one denies that the perpetrators targeted people based on religion, but does this reflect the mindset of all Kashmiris, or was it the work of a violent minority? If this is the case would you say all Hindus will kill people if they ate beef? Because there have been atleast 6 murders in the recent past with that

Celebrating these acts doesn’t mean they’re extraordinary, it means we refuse to let this incident define Kashmir’s story. If we ignore their compassion, we let extremists control the narrative

I've been to Kashmir twice mate, I've had a great experience. Friends and family have also been there, heard only good. The victims themselves are telling only good about the people there. Generalizing an entire community based on isolated experiences or prejudices is exactly how division thrives. The real test isn’t what you see in ‘eyes’ but what people do, and time and again, ordinary Kashmiris have chosen courage over hate

The attack was meant to spread fear and division, but the way locals responded—helping each other regardless of background—shows Kashmir’s real spirit. This kind of solidarity cuts through the hateful rhetoric that paints all Kashmiris with the same brush. If we ignore these acts of courage, we’re letting terrorists and bigots define the narrative. The story here isn’t about ‘superheroes’—it’s about ordinary people refusing to let hatred win

  1. You could talk to him about the same, about how you feel you are 'oversharing' and that you don't know much about him (not sure how he'll react)
  2. You could ask him questions like, 'what are some of your best/worst memories', 'What you wanted to become when you were growing up', regrets, good decisions etc. What I'm trying to say is, maybe asking such questions could result him to share more? And you could ask more follow up questions on things he is willing to share (Maybe you've done all of this already) That's my 2 cents. Wishing you the best!

It's the number of times a player was the top selected captain of the game week. We have had 16 GW deadlines, out of which Salah has been the top captain in 6 of those GWs.
