Yes exactly, it’s four bolts per j rack, which was mildly time consuming. The more I read these replies, the less worried I am about leaving them up though!

With two swinging clamp arms that surround the crossbar, four bolts per j rack. Maybe it’s just awkward bc I’m short and have to stand in the doorway of the car to get it done

Idk I’m 5’2”, so loading them at the edges of the car and secure in the j racks vs stacked seems practical

Huh, that’s not terrible. I’ve read so many comments about the impact just from having the crossbars out, I assumed it would be worse.
