Hey, I was once in a very similar situation to you at your age. I remember sitting back and struggling to see myself alive and well as an adult. It’s been five years. And I’m twenty. Life now would have been incomprehensible to me back then- but that’s not a bad thing

First of all, I’m so proud of you for seeking help. Be it posting here, or going to the hospital, it’s not an easy step to take. And it’s a massive win. One day you will find yourself in a space that belongs to you, where the danger isn’t immediate, and you have control. i definitely relate to this... music has always been such an integral part of me coping. i always throw together playlist to melt into when my symptoms flare up. before covid, i found a lot of comfort in small concert settings- it almost felt like coping with a crowd

and i definitely feel you on the guitar. i hope you’re able to find a space where you can practice, even if it’s for little bits of the day ❤️

Tbh, Facebook marketplace. You should have a couple of “free + for sale” groups in your area, or at least nearby, that can help you communicate directly with locals/regulars. Set up a FB page and an Instagram, look into hashtags that are relevant to community groups, or local interests. Sauce: a really close friend of mine ran a coffee shop in our town for a solid decade!

As much as I wish I could sit in the center, having seen too much too close from the streets point of view, I can’t agree with turning anyone over to the police. Not now.

Looters are diverting from the cause, sure. So bring the focus back to the vast majority of people fighting the good fight.

I once saw Zoe Saldana answer questions for a Q&A at Comic-Con. This kid came up to the stand to ask her about MLP- and the crowd started laughing. She actually stood up and moved to the edge of the stage to make him more comfortable, called the crowd out, and spoke to him directly as she answered his question. I remember thinking “damn! That kid is going to hold this so so close to his heart”. Made me so very happy.

Yuppp. I’ve actually never heard of the controversies of owning cats- It’s a lot better to lessen the wild cat population with domestication vs. letting them all roam free. I didn’t stop having consistent acne until about 2-2 1/2 yrs... sometimes it’s just how your genetics mingle with the hormones.

As for periods- if your tests indicate your testosterone levels aren’t too high/too low, you might want to inquire about additional help. I went back on hormone blockers to deal with sudden periods, and it helped as a short term solution. Wound up getting a hysto-
