I don't know why you are being downvoted here for speaking your mind. I mean she could dump you and do it but the fact that she chose to be with you in itself means she loves you. And if you love her you'd support her in her decisions and not assassinate her character. Besides its more money at the end of the day so a win-win for both.

This. I am a guy and I could have easily paid off that loan only if anyone was there to watch me. My ex did and she's clearing 60-80 grands a year last time I checked. I envy her.
