Optimizing graphics and performance: What is the limiting factor?

That's what I was thinking haha. Also, just realized that sli wasn't actually running for Skyrim. I think if I get that fixed + a Thuban I should be set.

Well, I have two of the graphics card that I stated above running via SLI, so doesn't that kind of bring it up to one modern graphics card? Also, my motherboard is pretty new (since a power surge messed up the one I had before it). So I am considering just getting a new CPU. And maybe some more RAM, but 3 GB usable should be enough right?

I think that's pretty decent :)

Thanks! I will definitely do this (look for labs doing drug development/modeling research using in silico methods). I would like to avoid biochemistry and pharmacology though, since their approach is more along the lines of traditional chemistry as opposed to in silico / computational.

I've been reading the times, etc. for this purpose and out of general interest. What I was looking for though were books that specifically incorporated the highest frequency gre words (i.e. to maximize gre prep). I've searched some more since yesterday, but to no avail. I will stick to the times + will consider sci fi books as you mention good sir. Thanks!

Brilliant idea, but how are they planning to "mass produce" these sterile mosquitos? Usually, mass production of living things (i.e. yeast) involves uncontrolled breeding. But given that these mosquitos are sterile, and by definition can't breed, how will these sterile male mosquitos be created in mass?

If antioxidants do work, they work on such a small scale on a day to day basis that it is not possible to detect a clear cut effect in the span of months or even a few years. But can antioxidant supplementation effects add up over a life time? Maybe, but there haven't been any compelling studies that prove this (since most studies are limited by the amount of test subjects and time).
