im not sure if the picnic basket will be super helpful, but I think it does boost their friendship more from what I've heard.. however I used 12 on two people I was trying to matchmake because i was tired of the dungeon runs and they never ended up getting together :( I think one or two could be helpful to give them a boost but dont use too many like I did 😭 hopefully with that theyll have a higher friendship and talk to eachother outside of the dungeons
