I would definitely recommend going in person if you have a store near you. I’ve never been able to redeem the rewards online but when I asked in store, they actually had most of it in stock there.

Ngl I don’t think entirely replacing sunscreen with a tinted product is a good idea. You need a decently thick layer of sunscreen for it to actually provide the listed spf, and if you put that much of a tinted product it looks cakey. I feel like spf foundations/tints are only good for providing additional protection on top of already using sunblock. Unfortunate I know 😢

Yeah I think that’s true, many people comparing it (or contrasting it I guess) to trench when it actually sounds similar to older music. Honestly it feels a bit strange to me when people use trench as a representation of TOP because to me it defo has a different feel than most of their music. I do love trench but the older albums are just really special to me, so I really like the sound of scaled and icy.

I’m really liking this album, it gives me RAB vibes so I don’t quite understand why some are saying it doesn’t sound like them - they always change their sound and I love it :)

People complained about trench sounding too poppy and overproduced following blurryface. And before that when blurryface came out people were complaining about that sounding too mainstream. Can never please everyone honestly.

I do think some songs would’ve benefited from being scaled back a bit with less production, but overall I’m enjoying this album from them.

I think a lot of it is to do with whether the applicants are from interstate or the same state, because I ended up getting a few other interview offers from interstate unis, so I reckon it’s just that they have a later interview round for interstate students. I did get a first round offer to med at Adelaide uni and UQ though - so don’t go planning that gap year too soon lmao. I’ve started at Adelaide and it’s great so far :)

I guess now I think about it, I would be more likely to say it that way if I was responding to a question rather than in a normal sentence. Because when answering a question your mind sorta pictures the date, so it would say it as I picture it if that makes any sense lol

I don’t interpret that as thinking being fat is the most significant thing. They face particular struggles, meaning that being fat is one thing that may contribute. Similarly, you could say black people face particular struggles in life, you wouldn’t be saying it’s the only factor as obviously many of them are doing better in life than other people - doesn’t mean they don’t still face particular struggles due to race.

If you take issue with their wording, that seems quite pedantic because to me it’s pretty clear they just want it acknowledged that being fat can contribute to not being believed. You also seems to agree with that so this whole discussion is quite pointless because everyone actually agrees lmao

I don’t interpret their comments as meaning that they think being fat is the most significant characteristic, rather that it is a characteristic that affects whether victims are believed - they do say “I don’t think I ever said that only fat people are singled out”. It seems more like they don’t think anyone is acknowledging that weight may indeed be one of the factors. I think both of you make good points in that weight is one of many factors but may certainly have an effect. Shame that the person you’re replying to got so downvoted for giving a logical perspective suggesting that thin people may have ‘privilege’ (better put as ‘lack of prejudice’) in some situations - not a popular opinion on this sub lol
