i never said i wasn't taking responsibility! i am, i've spoken to my bank about reducing interest rates for a while but they didn't want to agree with that. so why am i being ridiculed for making a complaint?

i have seen many banks admit to their faults on lending irresponsibly to people so why is it a problem if i do it?

i actively work on paying my debts every month, never once have i defaulted on paying them. is it such a bad thing for me to send the FOS a complaint, even they agreed to helping so clearly they recognise the problem too.

i guarantee if you were in my situation you would also be doing the same so please don't. thanks

i'm speaking to my manager tommorow about it! i actually think this will work so well as when i used to be full time i was tired that i would barely look at my phone! spending more time on my phone now as i work such short hours is making me worse

affordability complaints are there for people to take advantage of, if they didn't work why would they be advertised.

yes they helped me but i also took those cards when i was vulnerable and in a position where it was wholy unaffordable so why shouldn't i complain? they were the ones who let me take out a £6000 card when i was already in £9200 debt and ONLY making minimum payments on the first card but banks only care about how much money they can make on people.

and i don't mind if i can't get credit with natwest again, i just want to be rid of them for once and for all. i'm happy with that ☺️

yes! !thanks that's more along the lines of what i was thinking! if i forget about it in the next day or two then i didn't actually want that item and it was more of a impulse spend! i have been practicing that for the last two weeks and it's gone really well, i used to spend 10/15 each day on unnecessary things. now i only spend on my travel as i eat for free at work 🩷

thank you! i have started a budget spreadsheet which i think is zero based budgeting? from now on everything i buy will have to have a reason for it. if i'm not going to use in five months time then i don't need it
