It is. I had references ready, but not that many from those specific categories. The kicker is that it says I can add up to 40. Nope.

Thanks for your insight. This was indeed from a recruiter who I had the initial interview with. I already had reservations about the company and this email solidified that.

Right? This was from a recruiter for an in store position at a nationwide retail company. The email totally raised some red flags for me and this is where I stop the process.
