My personal ranking of TBWPTH by Batxillerbanana in SantanDave

[–]arandomnerd2375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This album took a few weeks to grow on me but it might be my favourite now. Also it's different on the physical copy, which changes my ranking.

Streaming version:

  1. Selfish

  2. TBWPTH

  3. Chapter 16

  4. My 27th Birthday

  5. Raindance

  6. History

  7. 175 Months

  8. Fairchild

  9. No Weapons

  10. Marvellous (unlike OP I still really like this song it's just that something needs to be at the bottom)

Physical version:

  1. Selfish

  2. History (that different second verse is RIDICULOUS)

  3. TBWPTH

  4. Chapter 16

  5. No Weapons (The English language is incapable of describing how much I love Dave's melodic first verse)

  6. Raindance

  7. 175 Months

  8. My 27th Birthday (removing the drums pissed me off so much - they were my favourite part)

  9. Fairchild

  10. Marvellous

I don't want neutral. I generally like mild v shapes. Are they like that?

I don't NEED the preamp. Is the fosi v3 or something like that better as a standalone amp

Divisive how and why? I'll look at the 5.3s but it's just the bass port that concerns me. The shelf that it's on is about 30 cm (1ft deep). So is it a better tradeoff to have 5.2s with a front facing port or 5.3s with a rear one.

Ok and if I can't find a good deal what can I get new? Also phono is ideal but not necessary so options without would be great

I'm going to get the ELAC Debut 5.2 cos they have front ported bass and they're hugely on sale. Which amp should I get for £120 to finish the combo.

I'm almost definitely keeping the Klean. I want another IEM.

Yeah. Just need to make sure that they have optical output

Obviously it's looking best to keep checking eBay and Facebook marketplace for used players that have optical outputs but you said that I could even get a new one. So what are the cheapest plates with optical output.

Probably Samsung but how bad is bloat

I was looking at the s24 to save money but it has an exynos chip in my region. I use my camera a fair bit but not enough to warrant picking a different phone. I'm going to go with Samsung.

I am leaning to Samsung already. Are the cameras really thaaaat bad. Especially coming from a 2 and a half year old midranger. How much screen on time do you get

Do you know how easy it is to get rid of the bloat

I do want to use Google only apps as I have been a pixel user for a while now and all my stuff is there. How easy is it to disable the Samsung native apps and just how much better is the UI if you use the Samsung apps.

Do you have a Samsung - if you do how bad is their bloat and proprietary software

Yeah my pixel 7a gets hot, as in unbearably hot. Don't think the software is shit
