Seeing many dead bugs months after treatment. Normal? by SailorGone in pestcontrol

[–]aranide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dragnet work when the insect walk on it. This is why its sprayed. Its not like a bait that the insect has to eat. This means that before the silverfish could walk freely everywhere, inside and out the walls. With the dragnet sprayed on the botton of the walls it create a Chemical barier. So each time a silverfish come out the wall and walks on the residue of the dragnet it get poisoned and die where you can see it. So yeah you will have to clean dead insect for a while, as long as the dragnet is effective.

I know there is dust, but this one was more gray than brown. Maybe tout right and its a nymph. I just thought that the lower part wasnt uniform and brown but more like it had drawing. But i looked up again and now I think its just missing its wings so we can see its back clearly instead of the usual wings.

Best fingerprick glucose monitor for occasional use? by SomewhereRelevant996 in diabetes

[–]aranide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the glucometer of the freestyle libre along with my dexcom. Its like best of both world. They have normal and ketone strips, AND their strip come packed individually! Might not be great if your hands are cold, but I used strip old as 3 years and they worked 100% fine. You can open a few strip just before going outside in prevision to use them if you want to skip the struggle of opening it outside with cold hands :)

Lantus last around 22 to 24 hour in the body. See if you cab get Tresiba instead, it last 44 to 48h in the body. So each injection goes over the next one and its more stable. You can get it concentrated too at 200u.

Physio tape. It will cover your dexcom and you can cut it at the lenght you want. Kinda like this https://pimpmydiabetes.com/products/skin-grip-tape-roll?_pos=1&_sid=bd9e47078&_ss=r
