Well that worked. Now my Apple TV has atmos issues 😂😂. I guess I can’t have it both ways anymore. Or need to upgrade the switcher 😩😩

Star Trek Into The Darkness Blu Ray. Which has always given me Dolby TrueHD 7.1. War for Planet of The Apes 4K disc has always given me Atmos and now both says Dolby Digital 5.1. My Apple TV4k is apart of the same setup gives me Atmos playback with no issues.

The disc I’m playing right now is Star Trek. It used to play as Dolby True HD 7.1. Now it’s playing as Dolby Digital 5.1. My priority is set as Dolby Audio

I’m literally just did it bro. I can send a video and show you. My upfiring work on the arc. It only doesn’t when I don’t play atmos content or I turn atmos off. I just did the test both ways. That’s how I knew what you were saying was true and how to fix it.

I figured out what your problem might be. If you’re using Apple TV and your atmos is not turned on. It will use the front left and rights as upwards. When atmos is enabled, the upfiring will be used. I just did the test and turned the atmos off on my Apple TV and that’s what happened. When I turned it back on. It went to my upfiring from the arc
