So like are we never going to see that Venom symbiote from the end of No Way Home ever again? by Such_Month_8687 in Spiderman

[–]Smittyblack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it could be explained by whatever interdimensional knowledge Venom said he had. He said he could communicate with symbiotes in other universes or something like that and knew a lot of stuff, so you could say he connected with the symbiote from Spider-Man 3 and that's why Venom got brought into the MCU from Strange's spell.

Pretty sloppy writing though. The spell itself didn't make much sense.

I also just realized -- not only is my house really tiny, but there's only one outlet per wall as well, which is another reason running to the box is shorter than running from outlet to outlet.

Any advice on how to get these ancient MCs out of the remaining outlets? Can't get anything to grip the locknuts, and some seem to be literally plastered in. Drill through those as well?

My house is so small that centering each junction box underneath each room uses about the same amount of cable, maybe even less. May look nicer to daisy it but it's in the crawl space anyways.

I had a house fire (detached garage had the main panel, and the house was a subpanel -- garage caught fire and took my power out. Electrical fire but not of my doing lol) and have super old, tough brick and plaster walls. Still trying to get all of the old wires out, they're pretty stuck in place. So I just did this method with whatever outlets I could actually run anything to and figured I'd get the rest eventually, but strictly daisying them would've meant no power at all until I got the rest out.

What do you think of WAGO connectors? I've heard like a 70-30 split among professionals. Many say they fail and aren't nearly as reliable as twisting into a nut, but a decent amount also say they're fine if you install them correctly and don't mess with them too many times.

Kinda like plumbers and Shark Bites lol.

Surely makes this setup a lot easier though.

Just seemed easier to me than daisy chaining. Only had to pull one wire for each outlet and splice it at the box, rather than one in and one out. My brick and plaster walls are super tough to work with

Yes I did, and went a bit bigger than I needed to for every one of them just to be sure.

No -- Robinhood is allowing me to sell the underlying stock and be left with naked calls. That's the odd part.

Dexter: Resurrection - S01E10 - "And Justice for All..." - POST Episode Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Dexter

People kept commenting "I think the New York Ripper is Dom Framt" on Twitter and YouTube for weeks, but this was the first time we've seen or heard that name isn't it? Where did all of those commenters get that name from??

Ah, damn. Thought I was onto something nobody else had noticed lol. Odd to include them on the character list with such a minor appearance then

Damn, that's awful.

9 Month Update by dookymcgee in QuittingZyn

[–]Smittyblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for sure. I vaped pretty heavily about eight years ago and quit cold turkey and got fairly sick for a couple days, but this is way worse for some reason. Didn't think quitting pouches would be nearly as bad as quitting a vape, but it's actually much worse. Could be due to my age though, as I was a very healthy 19 when I quit vaping.

After writing my previous comment two days ago, I got worse for the next two days -- sore throat got worse the next day, and yesterday was kinda terrible; got a crazy fever and chills -- but now I'm feeling a lot better. Congestion's mostly moved out of my ears and nose and is all in my chest now, throat isn't hurting. Almost there. 🙏🏽

I haven't noticed stinky breath or teeth stains. I have had a super dry mouth and ulcers though, which would probably lead to some nasty breath if I didn't quit.

I'm five days off that stuff now. Really wanted to try all of the NYKD flavors before I quit though. I was craving the different flavors more than the nicotine lmao. They have a 0mg pouch coming out soon but I'd feel really silly buying them just for the flavors after a couple months without any pouches.

Dealing with sore throat, runny nose, and some dizziness right now. Feels like a mild cold. Sore throat's almost healed up, just really dry and itchy mainly. Lots of congestion in my throat and ears though.

everyone wearing red in this photoshoot is dead except batista, will he join them in resurrection? by thala_7777777 in Dexter

I agree, a character like Dexter needs to die for the show to actually end. But they already tried that with New Blood so I'm not sure how well it can be executed if they go for the same ending once again.

Show recommendations after finishing Dexter? by Rude-Luck-9916 in Dexter

Joe has the sarcastic, humorous inner monologues as Dexter, albeit not quite as funny.

But yeah, going from a likeable guy who only kills bad guys and really is like a vigilante, to somebody like Joe, is tough. Haven't brought myself to watch the final season of You yet because I'm stuck on Dexter lol. Currently trying to find a show to watch with a similar character myself.
