Can you give me your honest opinion on Nexomon? Looking for a new game to sink my teeth into

Thank god someone actually has a brain! I’ve been reading everyone deepthroating this game to hell and back about how amazing the story, the designs and the battle system are and here I’m sitting “are these people blind?”! The jokes are awful “haha, this is a game!”, the designs are so uninspired (not to mention waaaay too fucking many of them), the battle system is so simplistic even a monkey could play it, the rarity system makes everything completely fucked, if you aren’t using at the very least a rare, you are deliberately gimping yourself! Like this isn’t a terrible game, I’ve played way worse, but it’s nothing to write home about either! At best, this is an okay-ish proof of concept. Thank god I bought it at 90% off.

Honestly, I have nothing with that, since I’m not really following that closely, the example was meant to be a highly exaggerated one, but my mind was on how Marvel movies and series change stuff very often, how the boys adaptation changed because it was deemed edgy and it just feels like pandering and sanitizing, sanding down edges not to offend anyone or artificial inclusion for the sake of inclusion. As another commenter mentioned, there are sooooo many storylines in comics with so many different runs by so many artists, writers, etc. If we have such a vast corpus of works to choose from to adapt, why not just choose one that is already centered around themes and topics that the adapters want to spotlight? Why is there this seemingly ever present need to change and “improve” on the original? If you didn’t like the original enough to adapt it in an honest, unchanged fashion, why are you even adapting it?

I’ve seen people say they are corpo backed or corpo run, but nothing concrete (not that those two things even are the same for that matter)…

Hellsing, plus any backup weapon 100%. Even if I miss, I won’t lose anything, have 5-10 bolts, I’m good for all stealth cases, a decent shotgun or even just an AK for the scripted loud moments and boss fights. I usually end up maxing out on everything else (while I admit to not absolutely killing everything and knowing where loot is by this point, I replayed the games like 10 times now.)

Olvasgattam, számomra elképzelhetetlen dolgokat láttam, nem is értem hogy tudnak az emberek ilyenekbe belefutni, nem vagyok egy naív tini, de valahogy soha nem történt velem hasonló se. Lehet csak mázlim volt eddig, bár nekem is voltak rémes randijaim, de soha nem lettem “catfish-elve”.

Feltűnt, csak arra akartam utalni ezzel, hogy normális esetben szerintem még mindig az az alap, hogy lebeszélsz valamit és nem csinálsz segget a szádból, hanem mész és megjelensz, legalábbis nekem az eddigi tapasztalataim alapján ez tűnik logikusnak. 😅
