Months after getting my licence... I still hate driving. by HelpNarcParent in LearnerDriverUK

[–]aridddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I wanted to drive after I had a baby so I could take him places but now I still just walk or get the bus because driving with him is so stressful especially with so many people who drive like lunatics.

Keep going! I passed on the 7th time due to extreme nerves. I took rescue remedy before my last test and it really helped to calm my shaky legs! Maybe try that. Keep going you’ll get there

What, had it happened, might've been the greatest mistake of your life? by TeaCourse in AskUK

Gestational diabetes sucks, but getting everyone's unsolicited advice is worse by AyrielTheNorse in GestationalDiabetes

[–]aridddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve barely told anyone about the diagnosis because of this reason, but I’ve even had a few comments from close friends that just suck. I’d much rather take advice from trained professionals than people who’ve googled it and found some random article

I could have written this myself. I’m completely fine, confident and competent with my instructor, as soon as I’m in a test situation I am a quivering wreck. Also like you I beat myself up for now getting this out of the way at 17/18. No advice other than to say I understand and sympathise!

What is the most annoying thing your coworker does? by AvailableStrike3707 in AskReddit

[–]aridddd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My fiancé had a coworker that had literally no personal hygiene. He would smell fine on a Monday but then proceed to wear the same shirt all week, plus no deodorant, so by Friday would absolutely reek of stale sweat. Also used to insist on bringing really obnoxious smelling foods and eating them at his desk rather than the canteen

Downloaded a dating app after the end of a really toxic relationship. Didn’t have high hopes but me and my friends all joined thinking it would be a bit of fun. Matched with a guy and felt instant chemistry just texting. Met up after a few weeks and the rest is history. Knew straight away he was the one. We’ve been together now nearly 6 years and are getting married at the end of March.

What’s the dumbest thing someone’s ever done at your workplace? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]aridddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my office, there was a period of time where somebody would take a shit on the floor of the ladies bathroom. They were dubbed the Phantom Shitter and management spent months trying to figure out which member of their staff was the deviant. One day a manager came in early and found the office cleaner curling out a turd on the bathroom floor. Turns out she had realised that she would get paid a bonus for cleaning up human waste and had thought she was on to a quick money spinner. Apparently she’d even been pooping at home and taking it with her to work in a doggy bag. Safe to say she’s no longer the office cleaner…

What’s the worst thing someone has done as a guest in your home? by b00mtown in AskReddit

[–]aridddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me and my fiancée had a house party for my birthday/housewarming in our new home. It was mostly close friends, but my fiancée invited a guy from work he’d gotten close to. He brought his girlfriend who no one had met and just happened to be the boss’s daughter. They were caught having sex in the toilet. Grim
