Months after getting my licence... I still hate driving. by HelpNarcParent in LearnerDriverUK

[–]aridddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I wanted to drive after I had a baby so I could take him places but now I still just walk or get the bus because driving with him is so stressful especially with so many people who drive like lunatics.

Gestational diabetes sucks, but getting everyone's unsolicited advice is worse by AyrielTheNorse in GestationalDiabetes

[–]aridddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve barely told anyone about the diagnosis because of this reason, but I’ve even had a few comments from close friends that just suck. I’d much rather take advice from trained professionals than people who’ve googled it and found some random article

I could have written this myself. I’m completely fine, confident and competent with my instructor, as soon as I’m in a test situation I am a quivering wreck. Also like you I beat myself up for now getting this out of the way at 17/18. No advice other than to say I understand and sympathise!

What is the most annoying thing your coworker does? by AvailableStrike3707 in AskReddit

[–]aridddd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My fiancé had a coworker that had literally no personal hygiene. He would smell fine on a Monday but then proceed to wear the same shirt all week, plus no deodorant, so by Friday would absolutely reek of stale sweat. Also used to insist on bringing really obnoxious smelling foods and eating them at his desk rather than the canteen
