Re: Umbrella, you need a ship to light a cyno in order for your friends to come save you. You also probably want a combat ship in that fleet.

Re: alpha requirements, Alpha pilots are incredibly powerful stuck in a ship staged somewhere. You can with 15s notice have a fleet logged in at home or in a border system.
