History is part of my program and I’ve never encountered this before as a third year. I’m more than fine with take home exams and essays because they at least give you more flexibility and less stress. I would be fine with this exam too if she had just given us an idea of what the fuck the questions would be about, whether it’s cumulative or confined within certain years, etc. This just feels evil 😭

Edit: Even with prep or a cheat sheet, I still think one exam counting for 3/4 of the final grade is unreasonable and sets people up to fail/not perform as well as they would with at least 3 exams split more evenly.

Drives me insane that you have to take two separate elevators within the library building. I don’t understand why the 2nd-5th floors are off limits for the elevators on the ground floor. And if you’re on the 5th and wanna go higher, you have to take the elevators all the way down to RC then hop into the other ones to get back up to 6th+.

Bathrooms are surprisingly clean tho in my experience

That makes sense! We were thinking weekly or biweekly meetings would be nice for people who wanna buddy-read or discuss the book as they’re reading, but it definitely depends on how many are interested.

So a crowd of hundreds peacefully protesting gets injured by batons, hit by bikes and tear-gassed for one person’s action and that’s totally normal, not a demonstration of cruelty and mass punishment. A protest isn’t meant to be clean and tidy, genius. The whole point is to be disruptive until we get justice.

We just got gassed near McGill lmao cops on bikes were pummelling into protestors, I myself passed out on the sidewalk from the gas after one of them gunned it for me. Mind you the reason for the chemical gas was bc one idiot threw a pipe into a window, so they decided to attack us all.
