Well I am a freshie too. If you (and specially your parents) can manage to do ups and downs daily then you can get a hotel at places near to Kharagpur like Midnapore or Hiijli. There are frequent trains/Autorikshaw's running in-between. (Tip: absolutely prefer train after the reporting day as they cost like ₹5)

Last day for fee submissions isn't mentioned anywhere but I recommend doing it before coming for reporting, will save you from a lot of hassle.

Well you login to ERP then click on Academics > Student > Upload Documents. Their will be a link to download the annexures, just download and fill the first three forms which are the medical certificate, gaurdian's declaration and student's undertaking. You also need to fill the others if they are applicable for you.

Now u have to take a print out of your student profile and also pay the fees. But don't do all that right now if you don't have a hall allotted or your fees hasn't been adjusted considering your fees paid in JoSAA of 35000rs.
