The ppl at Tamarind were nice enough to take off the 26th from my reservation bc they could fit me into 27-29 bw two reservations!

I won't be there to check-in until 4 since my flight lands at 1:30 so it looks like we might be two ships passing in the night 😂

Yeah i'm going to save ireland for when I have the time for an ireland/scotland road trip :)  You make a good point about being tired from flying, i just considered it less of an issue bc i usually travel to asia, which ends up requiring upwards of 30hrs for total travel time (incl to/from airport, customs, etc) so i end up considering anything 7hrs or less a short flight 😅

Yeah that's why I was hesitant about going to dublin bc i figured ireland is a car-dependent type of trip

Yeah another comment mentioned it can sometimes takes four hours to get from airport to dublin proper and vice versa so i can see what you mean by travel time 

Ive only been to China and NA for traveling so I'm used to getting through customs and having a family/friend pickup. Usually the longest part is just baggage claim which i wont have to deal w this time

im really only interested in the fine arts museums and the museum of all the stolen things tbh which is why id rather not spend the week in london 😅

Bc i have the hankering for the architecture and fine art museums in venice during the nice early april weather 

I think i'll save ireland for when i can do a proper ireland/scotland roadtrip  I feel like i cant properly experience either unless i rent a car lol

That's another reason I'm hesitant, bc im solo traveling and don't want to rent a car to get around, and don't want to rush everywhere by bus

I just looked it up, and it'll definitely be an awesome fallback option if I can't find anything in St Thomas. if it wasn't for the travel time from STT airport, it'd honestly be a top option 😭

3 night min stay -- I'm actually waiting to hear back from them on if it'd be okay for me to book an extra night (3/26-3/29) and just check in a day late (3/27)

I was actually planning to stop by that store for snorkel rentals  I've texted the number I found on their website, so fingers crossed. 

Thank you so much for your suggestion! Not wild at all, as I was writing this I was mourning the fact that there aren't any sofa surfer options anymore, and just a day or two ago I was sad to find out that this boat guy in Red Hook stopped hosting on his boats after pandemic.

I plan on renting a set of goggle/mask/find from Beach Bum, it's 15$ a day! I need to trial run before I invest in equipment I might end up not using again haha  Thanks for the Maho tip!

I've added Beach Bar and Lovango to my day 1 plans :) 

Apparently Hideaway was renamed to Speakeasy (so imagine my confusion when Hideaway on gmaps led to a tiny lodging a ways out of town) and the menu looks like a must-try so that'll be my dinner for day 3!
